This is one of the really legendary applications for the Atari, even allowing users of the humble ST to use their beloved machines for email, usenet as well as ftp. However, it has been quite a while since the last public release of NEWSie.
Hence, there are things that would need to be cleaned up and reworked in order to get the application fully up-to-date.
Now, this is actually feasible! Many thanks to John Rojewski for releasing his sources to the public. Sources are released under GPL.
